To professionalize all the small and big undertakings active in the area as well as local region, the Foundation ‘Stichting NDSM’ was created, off which Frank Alsema became the launching director. From maintaining the outside area’s ( clean & save) towards initiating new cultural projects, physical AND digital, Frank with his team organised the professional base to further co-develop the area and activities with the many cultural, commercial and off course the already based artistic entrepreneurs.
